Community Guidelines

Mumli is changing the culture around motherhood. We’re over the judgement, the competitiveness and the mum-shaming.

Our ultimate goal at Mumli is for mamas to have a safe and judgement free space where they feel supported and empowered in motherhood.

So if you want to join the ultimate virtual mother’s group, we do expect a few things from you:

Be respectful above all else

Mumli mamas do not tolerate or engage in rude or abusive behaviour.

Mumli mamas are anti-discriminatory and anti-racist. We have a zero-tolerance policy for any content which supports racism, discrimination or hatred against individuals or groups based on factors including but not limited to race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, religion, gender or age.

These are non-negotiable.

Be honest

Mumli mamas are here to engage in honest conversations and form genuine connections, so please don’t spam other mamas, post misleading content or pretend to be anyone else. We want the real you!

Support other mamas

Mumli mamas are always kind and supportive in their interactions. Check your tone before your post and make sure you’re not being condescending, domineering or petty.

Sometimes other mamas need advice and sometimes all a mama needs to hear is that she’s doing a good job. It can be hard to know when advice is warranted so as a general rule of thumb, if a mama isn’t asking, don’t go answering.

Be open minded

Mumli mamas are here to find the parenting style that works for them, and that’s going to look different for everyone. Be open minded and prepared to challenge your existing beliefs.

Mumli mamas trust that every mama is doing her best with what she has available to her and don’t judge other mamas for the choices they make.

Other things we do not allow:

We are all for mamas supporting other mamas by trading or donating items. However, as Mumli is not currently equipped to guarantee secure monetary transactions, we do not allow the buying and selling of products and services, the promotion of businesses, the promotion of commercial events, or recruitment for multi-level marketing and similar schemes.

Inappropriate content

While we encourage Mamas to share content and engage in meaningful conversations, we reserve the right to remove content we decide to be inappropriate for our platform or harmful to our community. If your post, comment or other content is deemed inappropriate, this may lead to the permanent deactivation of your account. Please report any inappropriate content to support@mumli.com
